Whether you want to donate clothes, shoes, toys, money, gift cards, coats, school supplies or time we can use your help.  The success of this program depends entirely upon the resources supplied by our community members and businesses.   Please check out our Goals page to get an idea of what we would like to accomplish with this program.   Please go to our Items Needed page and Basic Wardrobe page to see what we need to get this program started the right way.

If you would like to donate any of the items listed to outfit a child or several children, please contact me and we'll get you started.  Please note that you may donate a specific children's outfit, but not to a specific child.

If you would like to volunteer your time, talents or ideas, please contact me and let me know what you would like to do.  We are open to working with all schedules.

If you would like me to pick up donations from you or shop for you (you get the receipt for your taxes along with an official letter stating that you donated to Let's Clothe Our Kids) please contact me and we will arrange a time.  (Remember that clothes must be in mint condition and come from a smoke free home.  We currently do not have any hard and fast rules about pets.  Please just don't let your cats/dogs romp on the donated items before dropping them off.)

Do you or your kids need to complete any school required service or community hours?  If so, we would be more than happy to provide you with a list of great volunteering ideas to help us both.

Do you know of anyone in a retail outlet that would be able to help us out by donating clothes, coats, shoes or school supplies at free or greatly reduced costs?  We sure would appreciate the help.

We would love to have donations of paper, coping services, stamps and envelopes to keep our funds in the program and doing what they were intended to do: buy clothes for kids.

If you want to volunteer and are working around kids, please make sure that your name is on file in the school office and that you've passed all the criminal background checks.  Sorry, this is mandatory.   If you do not have kids in the school but want to help, trust me, I won't turn you away!

Would you be willing to pass this information on to your family and friends and ask them to pass the information on to their family and friends?  The more people that know about this program, the sooner we can get every school in the county and eventually across the USA to incorporate a Clothing Sale/Clothing Exchange program into their school.  I've heard there are similar programs to this, but they seem to be hiding as I've looked and looked and have not found them yet.  Let me know if you know of one that can help us thru any rough patches.  The more the merrier!

Do you want to start this program or one similar in your school?  Then by all means contact me, let me know which school and we'll create a list of schools that are participating.  I would be more than happy to add special pages to this website or let you copy for your own schools needs.  Please let me know as we eventually want this to qualify for nonprofit status to qualify for grant money, scholarships, etc and unless we know how many people are using it, we won't be able to go forward.

Please contact me with any questions, concerns or to donate.  Please click here to go to the donation page.
